I adore photographing moving objects like running children and moving babies, and I also love photographing products and still life – It is fun for my brain- being creative and technical with the light and the set ups that come along with being in the studio. And then on the total flip side- it is yummy for my brain playing with children and getting happy emotions out of them while following the pretty light and getting it on film… with props and lots of energy for editorial spreads.. I feel blessed that I love to photograph most things, but kids and still life -top it for me : )
I LOVE water shots!! the colors, the ripples, and especially how happy children are in water.. Cannot wait to actually get in the water with the kids and photograph them underwater : )
nothing better then lots of colors, moving objects, painted hair, cotton candy and some very extremely happy children… Next year..more photos!!

From time to time, I get the question asked- “do you shoot in black & white”? and the answer is no I don’t…. I only shoot in color, BUT…….. I can turn any photo into black and white. Most photographs speak to me in color, as I tend to feel more in color ! I do however believe black & white is lovely, classic, and can be truly amazing–and also gets labeled Fine Art. For those of you who might not know…. you can basically label any photographs Fine Art, but most of the time they are more of a documentary style and not posed and in the B & W format. I feel some photographs look great in b & w and some look best in color. A matter of personal preference. So.. I went back through some of my old photographs- and pulled out some black and white images that I felt were pretty to showcase for those out there that would prefer a more classic approach. These images would look amazing on Watercolor paper- and you can call them Fine Art. BTW I added a new section to my site called B & W….. thank you for all the questions.. as fun for me to answer : )
This adorable little girl Lily (5) and I went on a hunt for wildflowers and meadows… It was hard to find, as still early in the season, but we were a little lucky! we had fun with balloons, hats and flowers.. on a spring day.

Little Louis came and visited the photo studio this past weekend.. So adorable and fun and really easy!!! he is 7 months old.
