My husband took the children Saturday morning so I could be set free in the French Quarter alone ( Thank you Paul !). I had a wedding to photograph that evening so I had plenty of time to get lost and let my creative energy go. I had such an amazing time, and I felt inspired with every step I took. It is amazing how being in New Orleans can make you feel like you are in another country.
This wedding parade should have been called first line as second line traditionally means parading behind the band (2nd in line). I love the rich bright colors, the brides mask and the whole feel of these shots.. I think I want to re-new my vows just so I can have a parade!!!
The photo shoot was up in Fairfield, which was my first trip there. Such a charming little town, and a beautiful family! Vivian was one of my favorite babies to photograph as she was incredibly beautiful, never made a peep and kept puckering her cute lips! Enjoy the photos!!
