Indian summer day : )

This cute couple came to me last week, and we shot some in the studio and a few outside. Baby is due in a few weeks, and I cannot wait to meet them : )

This adorable 10 month baby came to see me in the studio.. so incredibly sweet and loved his red hair!

This little cutie is now 14 months old, I was lucky to photograph her at 3 months old, and she was just as smiley then : )

freckles, red hair, drool, crying, jumping, funny faces, missing teeth, crazy mismatched outfits, props like blankies.. these things I love love about photographing children. It is fun getting the perfect portrait for the families of all the kids smiling and looking perfect, but the odd- artsy- creative and letting the “kids be kids” is what I really love the most – and love it when the parents have fun too- getting involved in coming up with creative ideas! This adorable baby girl who is 10 months has a twin sister, they live in Westchester,  this is our third photoshoot and I just love being able to watch them grow up behind and in front of the camera- one of the best things about my job : )

Sometimes I think.. especially when I am trying to clean all three little kids at the end of a busy work day….. how in the world did I get here??? I love photographing all these fun little moments that you never see, like bath time, pasta and rice all over the floor (which is hard to pick up) , story time, getting ready in the morning and even the temper tantrums that happen (more often than I would like).  The real moments.  Here is  Lucas, Amelia and Natalie at their finest!
