This beautiful almost 8 year old came for a visit to the studio.. She is so fun and cute, and I think on her way to full star status : )

We did a bunch of different shots for her card- so she has a good variety for all the agencies.

The last shot was with my new fun optic 80 lens.

This super talented boy named  Ryan Jones came to the photo studio here in Darien for some updated headshots..  He  has been in a bunch of wonderful tv shows and is in a new upcoming movie called The Bear which has already been an Official Selection in a few Festivals. Ryan is a new client of BTM which an incredible talent agency out of California.

I also photograph head shots for any type of corporate groups- whether the shots be in the studio or natural light outside.

These photographs are a continuation of my Sundays series with Jack and Charlotte. We had so much fun, I think I could have photographed them all day!

I cannot believe it has been one year since we broke ground to build the photo studio. http://www.joebmoore.com/ (Joeb Moore Architects in Greenwich)  did such an amazing job in every way.. I love the design, the feel, the energy and the fact I have my own beautiful space now to create photographs year round, and focus on taking more still life shots.  It has just enough space to photograph babies, fashion, and even small pieces of furniture, enough light that sometime I don’t even need my strobes. I feel blessed to have this creative sanctuary and to share it with everyone who comes for photographs. Happy 1 Year!!

They are showing a lot of pastels and tones of grey this year for children’s ready to wear.. I clipped a few that I love that would be great in any photoshoot.  I love a little pop of color- and the pretty muted pastel tones for dresses and shirts.  For the big group family photographs- I prefer for everyone to be not matchy but to compliment each other perfectly. No big stripes or big patterns- similar tones are nice- and shades that match.  I love the natural/organic  look as well- beiges, whites, grey, and a little color.

Some of the best clothing designers for children are Zara, Crew Cuts by JCrew, H & M, The Gap, Armani Junior, Ralph Lauren, Hogan Jr, Cavalli, Burberry, Benetton, and Petit Bataou..

they will be here in a few weeks.. super excited to photograph them again!!
