acorns kept falling on my head today as I walked to the photo studio, so I think they wanted to be photographed..
These are just a few of Terofoma’s gorgeous products. I have been working with them for almost two years now, I love their look , and really think the products are beautiful, and original. Here are just a few of the shots we did for their upcoming new catalogue. We used half natural light and a little filler from the strobes- as in the past we just used strobes.
I was fortunate to work with Annie Mahoney a while back to photograph a new house she had just completed. I love her style-as she is modern, fresh and timeless with her patterns, textures and colors. Not only is Annie super talented and fun to work with, but she is one of the nicest people too!! She has been written up in the WSJ and recently CT& G .. super excited for her and her thriving interior decorating business.
I adore photographing moving objects like running children and moving babies, and I also love photographing products and still life – It is fun for my brain- being creative and technical with the light and the set ups that come along with being in the studio. And then on the total flip side- it is yummy for my brain playing with children and getting happy emotions out of them while following the pretty light and getting it on film… with props and lots of energy for editorial spreads.. I feel blessed that I love to photograph most things, but kids and still life -top it for me : )
Just finished the cover to a cool industrial magazine for the April issue… cannot show you the image- as it is a surprise, but I did take a few personal photos at the end of the shoot. that I thought I would share.
I am blowing these up and putting them in a white wood frame with white mattes printed on Fine Art Watercolor paper, very modern and serene..

I finished the first series of beautiful cut glass for this amazing company called Teraforma. Glass is super tricky to shoot especially on white- to show detail and clarity.. but I always love a challenge!! -especially when photographed in my living room.. 1 more month until the studio is complete!!!
